Iran retains world body-building title


Iran retained the World Body-Building Championship title on Monday.

The Persians claimed the title of the 2nd Men's World Body-Building Championship which held in Indian holy city of Varanasi from October 28 to November 1.

Iran won the championship with 100 points followed by the UAE and India who scored 94 and 84 points respectively.

Defending champion Iran won two gold medals, four silvers and one bronze in the event.

A total of 100 bodybuilders from 26 countries took part in the tournament.

Iran had won the title last year in the United Arab Emirates.

The next edition of the tournament will be held in Malaysia
