Leader: Behold the cry of the enemy

"The enemy has long dreaded the prospect of an influential Islamic Republic in the world," said Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Friday.

"Iran"s remarkable achievements in various fields of science, technology, and defense have infuriated enemies and have discouraged them from moving on with their evil plots," the Leader added.

Ayatollah Khamenei then criticized Washington and Israel for attempting to prevent Iran from achieving higher levels of progress.

"The West has long eyed Iran"s infinite resources and its strategic position and cannot stand to be discouraged by the Iranian nation"s vigilance and determination," the Leader concluded.

Ayatollah Khamenei also called on the Iranian nation to fully appreciate the sacrifices of the country"s martyrs, stressing that the Islamic Republic owes its grandeur primarily to the martyrs and the war-disabled.
