Nekounam: I couldn't sleep because of joy

Javad Nekounam's Thursday goal in the “Osasuna-Bordo” match of the UEFA CUP had a great reflection in AFC site.

"By the auspices of Nekounam's spectacular goal, Osasuna managed to defeat Bourdo in the final minutes of the additional time," the site mentioned.

"I’m very happy. The goal was the result of the team's attempt and supporters' backing. My goal was on the high rank of importance because we managed to scale up," the Iranian halfback told reporters at the end of the match.

"I'm bound to thank my teammates and all the fans for their support. They have stood beside me all the time. I couldn't manage to sleep because of fatigue and joy after the match. I'm very pleased because of being a member of Osasuna," he added in an interview with Osasuna club's site.
