Detaining children is intensifying in Bahrain

Despite numerous reports of mistreatment of detainees in Bahrain, and being deprived of their most basic human rights, Al-Khalifa regime has increased the arrests of people, especially the children.According to Al-Alam News Network, followed the rise in arrests in Bahrain, Hassan Habil Ahmed Ali, (17 years old) on his way home was arrested and tortured by the security forces in Al-Bladal-Qadim area on the 7th of February 2013.

He later was handed over to the Interior Ministry, and the judicial system confirmed the Interior Ministry charges, and based on those charges, the verdict was issued.

His family was forced to withdraw him from high school, because according to the Al Khalifa rules, students with juvenile detention history do not the rights to go to schools and universities.

Al-Khalifa security forces have recently arrested and beaten a boy riding his bike with a sign “Perseverance”‌ written on it.  Also there has been any news regarding Mohammad Abdullah Salman (age 25) since his arrest on April 8, 2013. And his family has not been able to get any information about his arrest and his where about.

Al-Khalifa security forces have been searching Salman’s house and insulted his family.
