Diary of July 23 2006: Hundreds of Rockets Pound the Occupation Settlements

On July 23 2006, and in the framework of its response to the persisting enemy aggression, the Islamic Resistance used hundreds of missiles to pound the two cities of Acre, Safad, enemy occupation settlements in Tiberias, Karmael, Kiryat Shmona, Nahariya, Ma'alot, Shlomi, Ramat Naftali, Yephtah, Sidi Eliezer, Zuweil, Helon, and Gonen.

A number of other Zionist occupation settlements were also bombed.

 

Diary of July 24 2006: Confrontations in Bint Jbeil Town

Bint Jbeil, the capital of resistance and liberation remained resolute against the occupation, growing more glorified by its resistance heroes who terrified the enemy, and repelled their attempts to advance toward the city.

The heavy losses in equipment, vehicles and personnel the enemy incurred in its battles with the resistance included 4 Merkava tanks, 2 complete posts with their entire crew either killed or wounded additional to a further fifth tank destroyed by night.

On another level on this same day, the resistance bombed with their rockets a number of Zionist occupation settlements in response to enemy attacks.

 

Diary of July 22 2006: Steadfastness in Maroun Al Rass

The Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance contributed in this steadfastness at through battling the Zionist enemy in and around this town, where they destroyed 3 of its tanks, and killed and wounded more than 20 Zionist officers and soldiers.

Diary of July 21 2006: Zionist Massacres of Civilians (1)

Since the beginning of its aggression on Lebanon on July 12 2006 of, the Zionist enemy carried out a number of horrific massacres against our civilians killing a large number of children, women, elderly and invalids.

"Israel" carried out it massacres in various regions of Lebanon from the South, to the Bekaa Valley through to the north.

The following are among the massacres that stood out most:

* Dweir massacre, its victims were the entire family of martyr Sayyed Adel Akash, consisting of father, mother and their ten children.

* Marwaheen massacre, 23 martyrs including 12 children. UNIFIL's force had refused to receive them at its headquarters; they were killed on the road leaving town in a "pickup" truck.

* Ibba - Jibsheet massacre, its victims were about 18 people killed.

* Aytaroun massacre, 12 people martyred.

* Srifa massacre, led to the martyrdom of 30 people.

* Massacre of Nabi Sheet, led to the martyrdom of 8 citizens.

* Tyre massacres, led to the martyrdom of some 60 citizens in a number of places.

* Al Qa'a Massacre, led to the martyrdom of 30 civilians, all Syrian workers in an agricultural fruit packing plant.

 

Diary of July 20 2006: 4 Zionist Intelligence Personnel Killed

On July 20 2006 the Islamic Resistance was able to hunt four Zionist intelligence men between the towns of Maroun Al Rass and Bint Jbeil.

Reporting media outlets quoted Zionist enemy officials as saying: "We were exposed to a very harsh accident", in reference to the killing of four of their intelligence personnel. Subsequently it was mentioned that one of the team members was a high level officer.

 

Diary of July 19 2006: Aytaroun & Maroun Al Rass Confrontations

On July 19 2006 when a large Zionist force, backed by tanks and bulldozers attempted to advance towards the town of Aytaroun, fell in a tight ambush by the Islamic Resistance men. Violent and direct clashes ensued with enemy soldiers, using various types of weapons. The confrontations resulted in at least 6 enemy soldiers killed and 14 injured, and the destruction of 3 Merkava tanks.

The enemy made three attempts to repeat the advance toward the town but all failed. At Maroun Al Rass front, the resistance thwarted several advance attempts, inflicting the enemy with heavy losses in personnel and vehicles. About 14 Zionist soldiers were counted killed in these clashes.
