Turkish fisherman nets Israeli drone

A Turkish fisherman in the southern port city of Adana has captured parts of an Israeli drone in his fishing net, Press TV reports.

Turkish sources reported on Saturday that the fisherman was fishing in the Karatas district of the Adana province in southern Turkey when he found parts of an Israeli Heron drone in the net.

The coast guard divers began search in the waters of the region after they were informed, a Press TV correspondent reported on Sunday.

The Heron apparently belonged to the Israeli air force and the discovered parts of it are expected to be taken to Ankara so that the Turkish General Staff launch an investigation into the issue.
