‘Victory of Islamic Revolution has degraded Zionist regime’
Tehran’s interim Friday Prayer Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami, has said that following the victory of Islamic Revolution, the countdown to degradation of the spurious Zionist regime has begun.
According to IRIB, he said that with the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution; Intifadha, one after the other, forced the Zionist regime into degradation and humiliation to the extent that the Zionists forgot the slogan of Nile to Euphrates.
Tehran’s interim Friday Prayer leader said with the announcement of the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadhan as World Qods Day by the Founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace) the issue of Palestine took center stage as the main issue of the World of Islam, while previously efforts were made to display this topic as an Arab issue.
In further remarks, Ayatollah Khatami noted that Islamic awakening is a unique phenomenon in history.
Referring to the degrading days of the Libyan dictator, Muammar Gaddafi, after forty years of rule, Ayatollah Khatami said despite this dictator’s oppressive gesture in the face of Libyan people, he was degraded in the face of Western countries’ demands.
Tehran’s interim Friday Prayer leader called on the Libyan revolutionaries to be vigilant toward the conspiracies of Western regimes, especially the US so that these regimes would not hijack the Libyan revolution, and to reconstruct their country with unity and sympathy.
Ayatollah Khatami also thanked the faithful Iranian nation for their assistance to famine-hit Somali nation and hoped that the Iranian people’s valuable assistance to famine-stricken Somalis will continue in the future.
