IRGC statement warns Bahrain regime over Isa Qassim
IRGC has warned on possible regime overthrow in Manama of Al-Khalifa over stripping of the religious leader of its Bahraini nationality.
IRGC statement issued on Tuesday predicted a revolution which would topple the regime in course of violent actions by armed fighting loyal Shias to Ayatollah Isa Qassim; “the highly imprudent and cruel measure of stripping nationality of a religious leader flagrantly violates his citizenship rights and Islamic codes of conduct as well as international norms and regulations; the measure tramples on the human dignity of the Arab world and was in line with hatred expressed by Zionist regime and Saudi plot against true Islam,” emphasized the statement.
The statement is a reaffirmation of the warning issued by IRGC Quds Force Commander Maj. Gen. Qassim Soleimani issued on Monday. “The imprudent act will fuel the Islamic revolution in Bahrain and would topple the regime; the regime in Manama has copied Saudi Arabia in resorting to arms to placate Bahraini people’s peaceful activities. IRGC gravely warns the illegitimate and petty despotic rulers of the Al-Khalifa family about its inevitable overthrow by the sweeping waves of revolution if it continues its adventurism to win the hearts of the Zionists,” it asserted.
