Imam Sadjad (A.S) said: Everyday, a human being suffers 3 calamities but he/she does not take heed. If human being would have taken heed and listened, the world affairs and hardships would become easier for him/her. The first calamity is that everyday which passes, a day is deducted from a person’s life, if there is loss in wealth, a person gets worried but the wealth can be replaced whilst the loss in life is not.
The second calamity is that, a person receives his/her full sustenance, if this has been earned in Halal way, must be accounted for on the Day of Judgment and if it has been earned in Haram way, the person will be punished. The third calamity which is more important than the other two is that no day is reached the night without a person getting nearer to hereafter but he/she does not know whether is going towards the paradise or hell .
