Seminar on Ashoura ceremonies underway in Tehran
TEHRAN, Feb. 12 (MNA) A seminar on the Ashura ritual ceremonies is currently underway at the City Theater Complex in Tehran.
Several programs including play recitations, meetings of researchers and scholars, performances of ta'zieh (Passion play about Ashura), and curtain reading, in which a narrator explains a story depicted on a painted curtain, are being held during the event.
Some plays including “Restless”, “Three Little Houses”, and “Voice of Wind” have already been staged as part of the program.
The seminar began on February 6 and continues until February 21 at the City Theater Complex, which is located in Daneshju Park on Vali-e Asr St.
