Definition of power from viewpoint of the Prophet Mohammad
The Prophet Mohammad peace and blessings upon him said: "Power consists not in being able to strike another, but in being able to control oneself when anger arises."
The Power of God!
Out of that affection and thoughtfulness he felt towards the faithful, the Prophet (PBUH) asked Allah to forgive their mistakes. Allahs commands to the Prophet (PBUH) on that subject take the following form....
In the verse O Prophet! We have sent you as a witness, and a bringer of good news and a warner (Surat al-Ahzab: 45), Allah describes the Prophet (saas) as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner.....
The Ranks of the Prophets: When the Almighty Allah chooses a human being for His great divine mission, he must enjoy the highest degrees of virtues. Hence, the messengers of Allah are the most virtuous of people on earth.
