Interesting places of East Azarbayjan
Ghafarieh Dome (Gonbad-e Ghafarieh)
The building is satiated in northwest of Maragheh in side of Safi Chay river. The place is square shape and brick building that constructed upper side of stone stair and depth old water reservoir At the above side of entrance door, a written two lines installed but due to pass of time and corrosion, there is no information regarding its meaning, but it may refer to name of the owner of building and kid name.
Blue Dome (Gonbad-e Kaboud)
This tomb is known as 'Hulegus mother tomb' and is a blue black tower with beautiful shape and in ten particle prism and same as other towers with tomb include two floors. Inside building and around dome, parts of holy Koran verse 67 were scripted.
Red Dome (Gonbad-e Sorkh)
The most ancient land in Maragheh is Gonbad-e Sorkh. It is a square shape building with curtain ceiling and is located in standing columns. Available written documents shows construction time belongs to life period of Abdolaziz.
