Tombs of 27 Prophets in Iran

Photographers will embark on a five-day journey as of Friday to photograph the tombs and mausoleums of prophets buried in different parts of Iran. According to ISNA, research conducted by Haj and Endowment Organization showed that 52 messengers are buried in Iran, of which 27 have been identified.

Danial Nabi in Shoush, Yousha ibn Noon in Esfahan and Haiqooq in Touiserkan are some of the well-known prophets buried in Iran.

These prophets have largely been buried in Esfahan, Zanjan, Hamedan, Bojnourd, Khuzestan and northern cities.
