New Elton John’s Album

All the songs on Peachtree Road are written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin, and they have both said that the album has a southern feel. There are shades and echoes of country, gospel and soul in the twelve tracks, which were mainly recorded and mixed in Atlanta, Georgia, the city in which Elton has his American home. The wonderful choral voices that can be heard on eight of the tracks are from "The Voice of Atlanta". The images on both the album and single sleeves were photographed by Sam Taylor-Wood as she traveled around the American southern states during the summer of 2004.

Peachtree Road, Elton John"s 43rd album, is released on 9 November, 2004 in North America, and on 8 November in the rest of the world.
