Iran opens medical clinic in the Zimbabwean capital

Iran’s Red Crescent Society in Zimbabwe has opened a clinic in the capital city of Harare that provides several medical services for people of the African country, Press TV reports.

The clinic is equipped with numerous medical facilities such as dental units, laboratory and scanners.

Over 100 patients visit the clinic from different suburbs of the town every day.

“Our mission is to help and serve the Zimbabwean people,”‌ clinic manager Amin Hamidzadeh told Press TV.

“Our clinic is the cheapest one in the town. We offer very nice and high quality services to people who cannot really afford private clinics and even hospitals,”‌ he added.

The visiting delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran toured the clinic and made a donation of wares including blankets.

It is announced that the clinic will be providing free consultation on February 11, 2012, which is the anniversary of the victory of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution.

The clinic of the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran is providing medical services to hundreds of Zimbabweans six days a week.
