US flag-bearer of global terrorism
Iran’s Vice President for Parliamentary Affairs Muhammad Reza Mir-Tajeddini has described the United States as the “flag-bearer” of global terrorism.
Iran has well-founded documents of more than 100 acts of terror carried out by the US across the globe, Mir-Tajeddini said on Friday.
Mir-Tajeddini added that the US has always proved that it is a sponsor of terrorism, IRNA reported.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei first revealed on Wednesday that Iran is in possession of 100 documents indicating US involvement in terrorist acts.
On Friday, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili displayed two sets of documents, which he said implicated the American government for having ties with known terror groups and elements.
Jalili added that Iran has solid evidence that American officials sent saboteurs and their elements to carry out acts of terror in Iran and other regional countries.
He said Tehran reserved the right to take legal action against the US in both Iranian and international courts, adding that Iran would submit the documents to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon for circulation among UN member states.
