Bosnian channel airs Iran TV series
A Bosnian state-run TV airs an acclaimed Iranian religious TV series, Prophet Joseph, directed by Farajollah Salahshour, during the holy month of Ramadhan.
The series is being aired from the state cable channel, Sarajevo Canton TV (Televizija Kantona Sarajevo), based in the Bosnian capital city of Sarajevo.
Bosnian subtitles for the series have been provided by Iran’s Sahar Universal Network with the logo of this Iranian TV channel.
”Broadcast on a European channel for the first time, the series has been warmly welcomed by Bosnian audience,” said the director of Bosnian service of Sahar Universal Network, Mehdi Heidari.
As the series is aired from the state cable channel, many people have the opportunity to watch this Iranian TV production, he added.
The television series Prophet Joseph, broadcast from the popular Star TV channel in Turkey, has also attracted a wide range of audiences.
Mostafa Zamani, Hussein Ja’afari, Mahmoud Pakniyat, Katayon Riahi, Elham Hamidi are some of the actors who star in this Iranian television series.
